Discovery Festival Friday in ‘Klokgebouw’

EINDHOVEN – Shopping in the Nano supermarket for a twitter tooth, seeing how professor Kroesen heals wounds with plasma technology, creating a drawing of a nude model under the influence of light and sound, reading emotions through a portable EEG scanner: during the STRP Discovery Festival, being amazed by discovering new things is the main purpose.

After six successful editions in NEMO Science Centre in Amsterdam, this year the festival is brought to Eindhoven’s Strijp-S. Parts of the event are scientific experiments by local technology giants such as the Technical University Eindhoven, Philips and Holst Centre.Philips Research will test whether coffee, a light shower or a nap is the solution to go on until 5 o’clock in the morning in the Recharge Bar. The TU/e calls the entire audience to participate in a file-and wave experiment, where cameras will record the behavior of the mass. In addition there will be musical names that are known at international level: Rustie, Martyn and Breach will be behind the turntable.STRP meets Discovery festival takes place on Friday 28 September from 20:00hrs till 05:00 hrs in the ‘Klokgebouw’ in Eindhoven.
