There is dense fog covering large parts of the country on Friday morning.  This is also causing trouble in Eindhoven and the surrounding area. There is a disruption of flights at Eindhoven Airport.

At least six flights were delayed Up to 9.40 am. It concerns flights to Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, Poland, and North Macedonia. There is a cancellation of flights to Banja Luka in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Poznan in Poland.

“The disruption is going to continue until noon,” said an airport spokesperson. “Ultimately, the airline decides whether or not to fly. Some flights did manage to depart. But we assume that the vast majority of planes will remain on the ground until this afternoon. Until then, there will also be fewer flights coming in,” says the spokesman.

In the terminals, the crowd shall increase significantly “We try to keep everything running smoothly but it’s obviously not pleasant. Anyone who has a flight scheduled for today should therefore contact the airline company,” says the spokesperson.
