On Monday, the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven kicked off a major campaign to encourage companies to allow their employees to travel more sustainably.

The initiators are Brainport Development, ASML, the municipality of Eindhoven, and Turnn. The latter has developed an app for sustainable transport, such as shared bicycles, public transport, and shared cars. According to the initiators, traffic in the region creates just as many greenhouse gases in the air as before the corona pandemic. That is why, they say, something must be done quickly.

The campaign is primarily intended to get employers and employees to think about really travelling sustainably. One of the ways to do that is to use the Turnn app. It allows employees to plan business trips in a more environmentally friendly way.
