Considerable percentage of students at TU/e are vaccinated

Vaccination

The vaccination rate of students at TU/e is very high. The results of a survey indicate that 96 percent of the students will soon be vaccinated.

This is considerably higher than the regional vaccination rate. The GGD announced earlier that in Brabant Zuidoost, 84 percent of the inhabitants over 18 years of age are vaccinated. The university exceeds this by a good ten percent.

“Now that education is taking place entirely on-campus again, it is extra important that as many people as possible have had their vaccination jabs,” says law professor Frank Baaijens. “I am therefore very pleased that our students are getting their shots and thus contributing to minimising the risk of infection. I hope that as many students as possible, of those who have not yet been vaccinated, arrange for their vaccinations soon.”

This survey was conducted among all students, of which 41 percent answered.
