Due to continued upgrades, a new part of the Vestdijk in Eindhoven has been closed.

It is the street section from Ten Hagestraat-Kanaalstraat and its intersection with the Dommel. As a result, the inner city will no longer be accessible from the south end of the Vestdijk. This new building phase should be completed by the end of 2019.

Canal route re-opened

A new phase of work on the green city boulevard has begun. Kanaalstraat is open again because the work on it has been completed. Traffic can, therefore, reach the city centre by car via Kanaaldijk-Zuid and Kanaalstraat.

The parking garage at the Heuvel shopping centre is still accessible, and the north side of the Vestdijk also remains open.
