The preHistorisch Dorp (pre-historic village) in Eindhoven organized a spinning weekend for its visitors for the first time last weekend.

Young visitors in particular were enjoying themselves. “Everyone enjoyed participating,” says Tineke from den Boogaard, a volunteer at the preHistorisch Dorp. “The young visitors in particular were enthusiastic about spinning wool, but the parents often sat down to participate.”

For two days, visitors were able to learn everything about the history of spinning wool and flax in the preHistorisch Dorp. The volunteers from the park also brought their own spinning wheels for the occasion.
