Eindhoven companies and poverty organizations will continue to work together on all kinds of fronts. That is the outcome of the Maatschappelijk Ondernemen 040 diner (Corporate Social Responsibility 040 dinner).
Regularly there is such a dinner, where companies and social organizations come together. While enjoying a drink and meal, they make agreements and see how they can help each other.
Poverty was the theme on Monday. This time the dinner resulted in fifty new collaborations in the city, all about poverty alleviation. For example, Banning Advocaten is going to support the Speelcadeau foundation for poor families in processing data and personal data. And the Bijenkorf Eindhoven organizes workshops at the second-hand store of Stichting Welzijn New Beginning. Holland Casino Eindhoven supports De Stadsakkers – where vegetables are grown for the Food Bank.
For the dinner a branch of the Food Bank Eindhoven was converted to a pop-up restaurant this time.
