A car caught on fire on Thursday afternoon on the A2 motorway near Eindhoven.
According to a witness, this happened spontaneously. The two passengers could get themselves to safety. Rijkswaterstaat’s right-hand lane was closed because of the burning car.
Traffic in the direction from Maastricht was affected by this. The fire brigade has extinguished the fire in the car.
