Last week, there was a hit and run on the corner of Montpellierlaan and Franse Baan. At about 08:00 on Thursday morning, 25 April, a moped rider was hit by a car. The car’s driver sped away, without leaving his details.

The moped rider was taken to hospital by ambulance. Since the moped was lying in the street, the police decided to lock it and place it against the fence in the public road near Provencehof. When the victim’s father returned to the scene later that day to collect the moped, it was no longer there. It seems to be have been stolen.

Did you maybe see this accident or know what happened to the moped? It is a blue Piaggo Vespa Primavera. If so, please contact the Eindhoven Police at 0900-8844 or send them a message via their Facebook page. If you do contact them, please use the reference number, 2019084491.
