Woman severely injured in car accident

On Thursday evening a female motorist was severely injured on the A58 near Eindhoven.

The accident happened near the Batadorp junction. The woman drove her car off the road and rolled down some 50 metres of the embankment and the vehicle landed on its side in a dried-up ditch.

The fire department had to cut open the roof of the car. Two ambulances and a trauma helicopter arrived to assist. The woman was taken to hospital with severe injuries. A vehicle salvaging company got the car out of the ditch.
