OAE wants more agents to prevent Eindhoven's 'urban jungle'

The Ouderen Appèl Eindhoven (elderly political party) expresses concern about the disturbances in the Eindhoven city center.

The party increasingly hears that there are disturbances at night by homeless people, illegal immigrants, drug users and drunken people. The party wants to know from the city authorities how the safety of Eindhoven residents can be guaranteed and wonders whether more police agents are needed. They must ensure that the disturbances will be considerably reduced.

In an article from the Eindhovens Dagblad, Mayor Jorritsma told about the ‘urban jungle’ in which Amsterdam is currently situated. These problems can also start in Eindhoven, if action is not taken in time.
