On Saturday afternoon, the police received a remarkable report about a ‘kidnapping’ in the Eindhoven district of Vaartbroek.
What turned out? A fiancée was ‘kidnapped’ for his bachelor party. He was taken to the flats at De Koppele by his friends around noon. A witness saw everything happen and decided to follow the kidnappers. He called 112. At the Florencelaan the van was checked by the police and the story immediately became clear.

It happens more often in the region. but it can turn out wrong, says Raymond Vermeer, district officer in Vaartbroek, at the Eindhovens Dagblad. “For all we know, the partygoers and fiancée were pulled and dragged out of the vehicle with weapons drawn.” The names of the men were noted and it was settled with a proper chat.
