Exhibition “Art of integration” about refugee

The exhibition “Art of integration” is running now in Eindhoven and Tilburg to show the refugees’ life. One part of it, Nomads, is in TAC (Temporary Art Centre) Eindhoven from 11 November to 18 December.

Art of Integration is a project about the role art can play in the integration of refugees and about increasing support. The idea is that Nomads of Art of Integration will help to see refugees in the first place as human beings.

Visitors could know about refugees’ lives based on photos, videos, and images but not from their art work. Those exhibitions are coming from individual work or international collaboration. You can see for example, video portraits by Jesse van Venrooij (NL), a work-in-progress by Malina Suliman (AF) and Marcel de Buck (NL).

Besides, Nomads also exhibit the project Gedeelde Levens | Shared lives, which are photos of refugees’ happy memories before they came to the Netherlands.
