New food festival: Lepeltje lepeltje in Anne Frank Plantsoen

There is a new food festival in Eindhoven.

New food festival: Lepeltje lepeltje will be held in het Anne Frank Plantsoen this weekend starting from today from 1200 until Sunday. It is called Lepeltje Lepeltje in Dutch or little spoon little spoon and is an initiative of Kultlab. The organisers have previously collaborated on several events such as Into the Woods, Gluren bij de Buren, Douravaan and Struinen in de Tuinen.

Besides the many food stalls there will be several artists at the event. There will also be booths with several unique products, such as fashion, cartoons and jewellery.

The event is free however you are asked to buy a re-usable cup once buying something to drink instead of buying disposable plastic cups, thus reducing your carbon print, in a small way. Part of the proceeds of the sale of this cup will go to the foodbank. Last year proceeds went to the purchase of 38,000 eggs and 1500 kilo cheese providing 400 households for 6 months with these two items
