Municipality sells last apartments Aqua Veste

The municipality of Eindhoven has been able to sell the last nine Aqua Veste apartments to housing association Woonbedrijf.

Aqua Veste consist of a total of 24 properties. The City of Eindhoven gave financial guarantees for 17 of these homes in this project. Because the municipality felt it important that the project continued building despite the economic crisis. This means the city is owner of these homes, not yet knowing at the time of construction who is going to live there.

But now all the homes are sold, the last of which to Woonbedrijf. The housing association wants to rent the accommodation to people who quickly need a home, but do not qualify due to their position in the housing market. People who are recenly divorced, for example, refugee status holders or people with assisted living.
