Architect Paul Diederen has been appointed professor at the TU/e. He will be appointed as professor in Transformational Design.
Diederen is well known as the renowned Eindhoven based Design firm Diederendirrix. He specializes in the transformation of existing real-estate. And this therefore will also be the area of expertise which he will be concerned with during his tenure as professor.
Specifically Diederen will focus on the re-evaluation of the usability of the post-war city. He will be part of the Architectural Urban Design and Engineering unit of the faculty of engineering.
Paul Diederen will start on June 1 at the TU/e.
