Eindhovener 5 years prison for possession 200 kilos hard drugs

A 34-year-old man from Eindhoven will be imprisoned for five years for possession of more than 200 kilos of amphetamine, 5 kilos of cannabis and half a kilo of hashish. The court in Den Bosch ruled this yesterday.

The police raided the home and garage of the man last September. There they found the drugs in a toilet at home and in the trunk of a car. The Eindhovenaar admitted that the marijuana and hashish were his, but that he knew nothing of the hard drugs. Still, he could not explain their presence. According to the court, there is thus ample evidence that the man is involved in the major drug bust.

The wife of the 34-year-old from Eindhoven was acquitted yesterday of possession of soft drugs. A 44-year-old man from Veldhoven was sentenced to community service of 120 hours for the possession of marijuana and goods to grow hemp.
