Eindhoven welcomes its 225,000th resident

Eindhoven will be welcoming its 225,000th resident on Tuesday evening. During the City Council, Mayor Rob van Gijzel, will be welcoming the man who is the exact 225,000th listed resident of the city.

Eindhoven is growing steadily due to two reasons. The first one, is the natural growth, due to more newly born than deceased people. The second reason, is that more people move to Eindhoven, as opposed to less people leaving the city. Therefore, a positive migration balance.

The 225,000th resident is originally from Eersel; however, his present move to Eindhoven is from Utrecht. He has registered himself digitally, as a resident of Eindhoven.
