DAF builds workshop in Leeuwarden

DAF will start building a new work centre in Leeuwarden this month. The new building will be used for refurbishing trucks and then selling them.

The work centre in Leeuwarden will be built on a plot of 4,500 square meters. The building will be sustainable, consisting of solar panels and air heat pumps. Furthermore, led lamps will be used for lighting.

The new DAF branch will consist of 20 employees. This will also enable the Eindhoven-based truck manufacturer, to serve the market in North-West Friesland province.
