CEO of Philips Healthcare, Jeroen Tas, wins important award for innovation.
He was named Innovator of the Year 2015, during the Accenture Innovation Awards. Those are the annual awards for the most innovative Dutch products, services and concepts.
Jeroen Tas has been given the award because he has made an important contribution to innovation in the Netherlands, from inside a large company like Philips. He was involved in the innovations developed by the healthcare division of Philips, such as MRI scans or advanced equipment which can find and visualise cancer cells, all innovations which improve patient care.
