GLOW preparations in full swing at Stadhuisplein

Eindhoven is preparing for the tenth edition of GLOW, an annual lighting art festival.

Mayor Rob van Gijzel will open the event on the Stadhuisplein at 18:30 on Saturday, November 7th, starting with the première of a light and music show that will run every evening for eight days.

This year’s festival is focused on a nature and architecture theme.

Previous festival highlight Luminiare de Cagna will exhibit a lighting installation at city hall in celebration of GLOW’s tenth anniversary. Pop-up bar restaurant LUCE will provide catering.

From November 7th until the 14th, GLOW will feature light installations, sculptures, projections, and performances from around 50 artists.

The GLOW route will start and finish at the GLOW Café, located in Eindhoven’s Parktheater. Food and drinks will be available, as well as GLOW merchandise and guided tours.

The GLOW Café will also offer a virtual reality experience showing the history of GLOW since its first edition in 2011.

Entry is free of charge, while tickets are required for GLOW Specials.
