The Eindhoven municipality will hoist a rainbow flag on Monday at the Stadhuisplein. It is ‘National Coming Out Day’ on Monday. This day celebrates and emphasizes that whether gay, lesbian, bi-sexual or transgender, people should be able to be themselves throughout the year.

Tom van den Nieuwenhuijzen has been invited to join the Alderman for Diversity, Bianca Kaathoven to come and hoist the flag. Van den Nieuwenhuijzen was recently elected Mr. Gay in the Netherlands. He is from Eindhoven and represents the Groenlinks (green left) party in the City Council.
