Eindhoven business committed to help homeless people

Eindhoven businesses are going to help homeless people with a soup bus. On Wednesday evening, Alderman Jannie Visscher poured soup to homeless people from the Soup Bus. It is an initiative of the Salvation Army, St. Annaklooster and Neos.

They are supported by various entrepreneurs and businesses in Eindhoven, which according to the organizations, increasingly want to do something for the social problems in the city. These parties met each other during the ‘Maatschappelijk Ondernemen 040 Diner’ (social entrepreneurship 040 dinner) in May this year.

Not everyone who is coming for the soup is roof and/or homeless. Some are struggling to make ends meet and can very well use a bowl of soup and some attention. The soup bus is driving out a couple of times a week with soup, coffee, bread and blankets.
