An armed robbery took place at a petrol station in Nuenen, last evening. According to the police, the culprit escaped on foot, probably in the direction of the town hall.

Furthermore, according to the police spokesperson, no injuries occurred during the armed robbery. However, one of the petrol station attendants was threatened with an object resembling a firearm.

The robber demanded money and the sum he managed to escape with, is yet unknown.

According to the police, the culprit is a white male, his height is approximately 1.85 meters and he is about 20-years-old. He has a broad figure and wore a gray cardigan and a striped shirt during the robbery. He also wore a black shawl and a hat. The culprit was carrying a Jumbo shopping bag.

Apparently, it was not the first time that this petrol station on the Berg had been robbed. A month ago, a similar robbery took place, whereby the petrol station attendant was also threatened with an object resembling a firearm. Also then no injuries occurred.
