Airbnb growth stays behind in Southeast Brabant

The range of Airbnb accommodations in Southeast Brabant is growing less rapidly than in the rest of the Netherlands. Worldwide more and more private individuals are offering their homes as a place to sleep through Airbnb, writes the Eindhoven’s Dagblad.

Based on the Airbnb website the entire Southeast Brabant region, there are two to three hundred places. No city has more than a hundred Airbnb’s in the file on the website. It should be noted that the supply of Airbnb’s fluctuates considerably. The number of available accommodations on weekends and surrounding events is much larger.

Nationally, Airbnb sees an enormous growth spurt. According to the latest figures, our country has now about 23,000 properties. Last year there were only 15,000. The website exists since 2008.

Airbnb is a community marketplace where guests can book spaces from hosts, connecting people who have space to spare with those who are looking for a place to stay. Through their experiences on Airbnb, guests and hosts build real connections with real people from all over the globe.
