The Eindhoven is getting global recognition for its high-tech industry and creative and design communities. Innovation, knowledge sharing, inspiration and cooperation are at the core of its success. The concept of Maker Faire fits seamlessly with this philosophy. In 2014, the first Eindhoven Mini Maker Faire took place at Klokgebouw, Strijp-S. Over 1500 visitors participated in various demonstrations; workshops, with over 50 participants, learned how to braze, make 3D prints, build or control robots, make art with light and much more. To get an impression of this event, please visit our website. Following its great success, the second Eindhoven Mini Maker Faire will take place on August 29 and 30, 2015, in the center of Eindhoven. We expect around 3000 visitors this time!
Eindhoven Mini Maker Faire is organized by the MAD emergent art center and Eindhoven365 and is supported by a superb team of volunteers, sponsors and partners. It is independently organized and operates under license from Maker Media, Inc.
