Maker Faires are unique, accessible and inspiring events which take place all around the world and attract thousands of visitors. Large groups of tech enthusiasts, artists, hobbyists, crafters, students, professionals and many more show what they are creating, sharing what they know and learn with co-developers and the general public. Maker Faires aim at people with a passion for experimenting, prototyping, creating and sharing new products, processes and ideas and is by and for people of all ages and interests!

The Eindhoven is getting global recognition for its high-tech industry and creative and design communities. Innovation, knowledge sharing, inspiration and cooperation are at the core of its success. The concept of Maker Faire fits seamlessly with this philosophy. In 2014, the first Eindhoven Mini Maker Faire took place at Klokgebouw, Strijp-S. Over 1500 visitors participated in various demonstrations; workshops, with over 50 participants, learned how to braze, make 3D prints, build or control robots, make art with light and much more. We expect around 3000 visitors this time!

Eindhoven Mini Maker Faire is organized by the MAD emergent art center and Eindhoven365 and is supported by a superb team of volunteers, sponsors and partners. It is independently organized and operates under license from Maker Media, Inc.
