Ice sport associations taking campaign to the streets

The associations that are making use of the ice rink, will go out onto the streets coming Saturday to try prevent closure of the ‘IJssportcentrum’.

At 11:00 people will be gathering at the statue of Frits Philips, on the Markt. From there, the members of the associations will go into the city to look for signatures.

Everyone is asked to join in skating dress as much as possible in order to stand out in the city.

It is the not the first time that the ice sport associations are campaigning. Last Saturday also they were collecting signatures to keep the ice sports centre open.
