City dwellers may soon grow their own crops on little space.
There will be a workshop on Urban Gardening. The workshop is called design@work and takes place on May 30 and June 13th in the pop-up shop in the ‘Heuvel Gallerie’.
Design@work is an initiative of the learning and work center Citydwellers. They organize all kinds of "Design For Kids" workshops.
During each workshop the focus is on a different project. This time it is gardening in a city.
The purpose of this workshop is that participants subsequently go home to grow their own crop. Using a do-it-yourself kit, they can work at home with their own vegetable garden.
Citydwellers already organized a workshop: making ‘Engelse drop (English liquorice) furniture’. The furniture made can be seen on the first floor of the mall ‘de Heuvel’ on de Markt.
