International aerial refuelling exercise on airbase

From Eindhoven Airbase this month, different air tankers will be trained on the refuelling of fighter jets in the air.

It is an international exercise. The Netherlands, Germany, France and Italy will participate. The training is part of the international air exercise Frisian Flag.

The purpose of the Frisian Flag is to train pilots on cooperation. With this international exercises pilots and soldiers will be able to act together in tricky situations.

The home of Frisian Flag is Leeuwarden in the province of Friesland. Over there, there are international exercises with air tankers from America and Finland. The training will last until Friday 24 April.
