TU/e receives visit from astronaut André Kuipers

Astronaut André Kuipers will visit the university on Tuesday, March 3rd, during the ‘Bedrijvendagen’ or (company days) of the TU/e . The astronaut has been invited to talk on innovation and his space travel.

That is not the only special feature of the ‘Bedrijvendagen’. For the first time the event will be held over two days instead of one because the main building of the TU/e is closed for renovation. Therefore, the university can’t receive all the participating companies at the same time.

The company days are organized annually by the university and are part of the Recruitment Days. The aim is to familiarize students with potential employers.

The lecture by André Kuipers is primarily intended for TU/e students. The room has capacity for about 400 people.
