Reflective clothing in campaign for students

On Wednesday 21 January ten Eindhoven primary schools will take part in the closing event of ‘Reflection Day’. Where wearing reflective clothing is the central theme.

The groups five to eight (age 8 to 12 years) will be cycling through the centre of Eindhoven in reflective clothing. The bike tour begins at 19:00 hrs. The start and end point is at the 18 Septemberplein.

Reflection Day is a project of the campaign ‘Help Brabant op weg naar nul verkeersdoden’ (help Brabant towards zero traffic fatalities). This campaign aims to raise awareness about the importance of wearing reflective clothing in the traffic. "During the dark winter months it is essential to be visible," says the organization.

Over the past few months, the students were given guest lectures on road safety. At school all kinds of safety products have been handed out such as reflective vests, bracelets and stickers.
