‘Huygens College’ moves in with Sint Lucas’

Christian Huygens College at the Rachmaninovlaan is said to move in, in the Sint Lucas (Creative Arts and Design School) building at the Von Flotowlaan, reports Eindhoven Dagblad.

Both schools are within short distance from each other.
The Huygens College currently has 1,100 students and are faced with a capacity issue. The municipality is considering to also incorporate the 150 students of the Pleinschool Helder within the property.

Sint Lucas College leaves its current building in 2016. The school is going to construct a new building in Strijp S for the lower secondary and vocational schools of location Eindhoven. Initial work has already started and is said to be completed by mid-May 2016, which will be put to full use for the school within the same year to 2017.
