Eindhoven stabber receives two year sentence

The court in Den Bosch sentenced a 22-year-old man from Eindhoven a prison sentence of two years with six months probation on Wednesday. The man is suspected of stabbing a drug dealer.

The man declared in court that he had been the victim of ‘bad heroin’ and therefore approached the dealer. But the victim didn’t find it musing and was injured when the suspect stabbed him in the stomach.

The suspect claimed he carried a knife because he expected the dealer would not listen to him and he had to protect himself.

The alleged drug dealer said he had no idea why there was talk about drugs, because according to him, the entire thing was a dispute over a non-paid phone.

The prosecution viewed the stabbing as an attempted homicide and therefore the requirement of two years in prison.
