Christmas trees drop off in Geldrop-Mierlo

Gedrop-Mierlo residents can drop off their Christmas trees in the designated areas on Wednesday, 7 January between 18:00 and 19:00 hrs.

Prior to drop off, the trees should be stripped of all lamps and decorations. Thereafter, the trees can be placed either in a plastic bag or in a bucket and handed over to members of Don Bosco (the Geldrop scouts group) or to Scouting Mierlo (Mierlo scouts group) at one of the designated drop off areas, (inzamelplaatsen). An example of a drop off area in Geldrop is in the centre of Geldrop in parking lot ‘Het Machinaal’. An example for a drop off area in Mierlo is the town hall square.

While dropping of a Christmas tree, one will receive a lottery ticket. The trees’ collection is organised by ‘Stichting De Drie Harten’ (The Three Hearts Foundation) which is located in Geldrop.
