Play area in Witte Dorp in memory of Kotte family

This coming Sunday, a new playset and a bench will be unveiled at the Burghplein in the Witte Dorp, in memory of the Kotte family.

Oscar and Miranda Kotte and their 6-year-old son, Remco were passengers on Flight MH17.

The initiative for the playset as a lasting memory of the family came from their close friends. Thanks to donations collected at the Memorial Ceremony held in the Evoluon, and those from the Witte Dorp and the Witte Burgh, it was all made possible.

Mayor Van Gijzel will be making use of the playset on Sunday together with some children from the neighbourhood.
