A painting by Van Gogh has yielded 60 million dollars at an auction in New York. The painting ‘Still Life, Vase with Daisies and Poppies’ harvested this huge amount.
The work is one of the latest of the painter, who lived in Nuenen for a while. This painting was created by the famous painter just before his death in France.
According to the NOS people were expecting this painting to yield 30 to 50 million, however, this auction has largely surpassed this.
