Vegetarian Restaurant Week

Vegetarian Restaurant Week started in Eindhoven yesterday. Additional vegetarian dishes are included in the menu at Grand Café Berlage and Karpendonkse Hoeve until 16 October.

It is the fourth time Vegetarian Restaurant Week has been organized by the Vegetariërsbond (Vegetarian Association) and radio program ‘Vroege Vogels’ (Early Birds). They want to show how tasty vegetarian food can be and stimulate restaurants to add more vegetarian meals to their menus.

This week, the Karpendonkse Hoeve is serving quail egg with asparagus and Belper Knolle (a Swiss cheese) in risotto. Grand Café Berlage’s menu includes a filo pastry with vegetable curry, Fenugreek cheese, red lentils and pumpkin.
