The flames shot through the roof on Tuesday evening at a home in Valkenswaard. Fortunately no-one was injured during the house fire on the Westerhovenseweg.
The call was received by the fire services at around half past nine in the evening. The occupant was unable to get out of the house on time. The fire services used a ladder truck to douse the flames.
By ten past ten, the largest flames had been doused. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
