Philips Lighting is a programme partner for Dutch Design Week (DDW) providing lighting for the exhibitions at the Dutch Design Awards (DDA) and Modebelofte.
Philips developed a state-of-the-art lighting plan especially for DDW in collaboration with the design collective La Bolleur for DDA, and designers Niek Pulles and Harm Rensink for Modebelofte. Philips worked intensively to achieve an optimum lighting plan incorporating the latest innovations in the field of design and fashion lighting.
According to Menno Kleingeld, responsible for Philips Indoor Professional Lighting in Europe, DDW offers excellent opportunities for demonstrating Philips’ professional expertise in the field of complete lighting solutions for fashion and design to a larger public: "With our lighting, we create a magical effect on design. The result is a lighting plan completely in service of the exhibitions that are to be shown during DDW."
