Today, the Tongelreep wave pool opens its doors to the public again. Last Friday, the pool was closed because a metal bolt from the glass roof construction had fallen down.
This happened before the pool opened to the public, so nobody got injured. It was reason, however, to undertake a thorough inspection of the roof.
The inspection has taken place over the weekend and all screws and bolts have been replaced.
The glass roof has been declared safe. Therefore, the pool opened its doors again this morning.
