Five hundred musicians come to Eindhoven this weekend

More than 500 musicians from Portugal, Mexico and Spain come to Eindhoven this weekend.

They are going to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Eindhoven Tuna Festival. The Tunas will be going around the city centre from Friday until Sunday. A tuna is a group of university students in traditional university dress who play traditional instruments and sing serenades.

It is the eleventh time the Tuna Festival is held in Eindhoven. Besides the street performances, visitors can also enjoy parades, flag shows and balcony scenes this year.
