Two Eindhoven sidewalk cafes are in the race for the title of ‘Gezelligste Terras van Nederland’ (coziest Dutch sidewalk cafe). At the local preliminary rounds Mangiare and In den Bergsche Tuin scored best.
Mangiare, at the Kleine Berg, won most public votes in the Eindhoven preliminary round. In den Bergsche Tuin, at the Grote Berg, got the highest liking scores.
The national finals of this competition are on 10 September. The two sidewalk cafes might also win the title of ‘Gezelligste Terras van de Provincie’ (coziest county sidewalk cafe) then.
