Mega brain at St. Anna’s Hospital in Geldrop

A 3-meter high brain is placed at St. Anna’s Hospital in Geldrop today in the context of Stroke Day.

The mega brain is placed at the front entrance of the hospital. Visitors can walk around the brain and see what a brain actually looks like from the inside.

Furthermore, additional activities are organised, aimed to show visitors how to recognize symptoms of a stroke and how to prevent it. In the hospital’s main hall, various lectures on the subject are given by doctors.

This event is organised for the 10th time, as today is the annual European Stroke day. Other hospitals are also organising similar events for this day.
