PSV starts tribune for the blind trial

PSV will be investigating whether tribunes for the visually impaired can be placed. The club will launch the pilot at the end of the month.

Towards the front of box C, twenty spots will be reserved for the visually impaired and their companions. They will be able to hear commentators report the match through headphones.

This way, PSV hopes that people with visual impairment will be able to go to the stadium for a match. At the moment, this is difficult due to the fact that the field is far away from the tribune and there is always a lot of noise and commotion in the stadium.

The trial will commence at the PSV – FC Groningen match on 29 March. If the trial proves to be positive, the club will arrange a permanent tribune for the visually impaired next season.
