Saturday, PSV recorded its fourth successive victory with a 2-0 win from N.E.C. in Nijmegen.
The score at half-time was 0-0, but ten minutes after the break, Bryan Ruiz opened the score for PSV. Memphis Depay doubled the lead ten minutes before the end of the game.
Head coach Philip Cocu was satisfied with the victory, saying ‘We played a good game and deserved to win.’
Cocu’s team moved up to fifth place in the Eredivisie league table.
