Together with mayor Van Gijzel students of Christiaan Huygens College will visit technical company Tegema in Son en Breugel. The third-year havo and vwo-students are going there in honor of ‘project selection week’.
There has been a shortage in technically skilled graduates for years. By going on a field trip to Tegema the school hopes to arouse more interest in the technical industry.
Besides Tegema, the students will also visit Fontys University of Applied Science and the Technical University in Eindhoven. The TU has joined the Technical Universities of Delft and Twente to ensure that there will be more technically skilled people in the future.
