Last night the Edison Jazz Awards were presented in the Muziekgebouw Eindhoven.
The American bassist Marcus Miller received the oeuvre prize.
The price for National Jazz went to the young guitarist Reinier Baas. Various artists, including the winners, performed under guidance of the Metropole Orchestra.
The Jazz Awards were awarded for the seventh time. Singer and pianist Ruben Hein received the Edison Jazzism Public prize.
