The Technical University of Eindhoven is placed 106th of the best universities in the world.
This is clear from the new Times Higher Education World University Rankings, which is seen as one of the most important University leaderboards.
Last year the TU placed eight places lower. The ranking looks at education, research, income from business and international orientation.
Leiden University is the highest on the list of all Dutch institutions, on placed 67th. A new entry in the top 100 is Maastricht, placing 97th.
The Carlifornia Institute of Technology and Harvard University lead the rankings.
