Last night, DAF has opened a factory in Brazil. It is the first factory of the Eindhoven-based truck manufacturer in the South American country.
It is an assembly factory in the South-Brazilian Ponta Grossa, where trucks will be constructed. The area where the factory is situated is 230 hectares in size. The trucks are intended for the Latin American market.
The parent company Paccar has invested 170 million euro in the new location.
