Retailers from the Woenselse Markt and the Kruisstraat are organizing the first edition of the WOW-festival next Sunday.
During the renewed festival, shop owners will demonstrate the wide variety of shops in Old-Woensel.
Councilman Joost Helms will open the festival at noon. After that, different activities will take place all afternoon.
The retailers from the Kruisstraat and the Woenselse Markt want to improve the street’s image. In the past few years they had to deal with numerous safety issues, where some shop owners were robbed. That is also the reason why the Kruisstraat now has safety cameras installed.
